  Denis, the HSE has advised that hospital budget data and actual spend are already published by the HSE as part of the Monthly Management Data Report (MDR) http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/publications/performancereports/2017-Performance-Reports.html . The HSE are currently investigating the options around publishing this data as Open Data on their Open Data portal and expect to be in a position to do this by year-end. Regards Open Data Team

You may be interested in this showcase on public expenditure https://data.gov.ie/showcase/where-your-money-goes-website (although it includes health expenditure data at a high level rather than drilling down to specific areas of expenditure)
