Green Schools Data FCC

The Green Schools An Taisce, in co-operation with the Fingal County Council and other Local Authorities, run the national Green Schools flag programme. Schools carry out a number of tasks, run educational programs and environmental projects which are incorporated into everyday school-life. The themes are: Litter and Waste, Energy, Water, Travel and Biodiversity.  Global Citizenship Energy, Global Citizenship in Litter and Waste Global Citizenship Travel    Our green schools coordinator can visit your school and help you get started or give presentations on different environmental issues.  For schools working on the litter and waste theme, you can arrange a class visit to one of our recycling center's.This data contains the listing of schools in Fingal registered as active in the An Taisce Green Schools Program.For More information see www.fingal.ie/council/service/green-schools-programmeThis data set lists the schools within Fingal Administrative Area.
